The groom, 36, is a manager of software development at Motorola in Santa Clara, Calif. He graduated summa cum laude from the University of Illinois.
He is the son of Lalita Batra of Schaumburg, Ill., and the late Suresh K. Batra. His mother is a clinical psychologist in Oak Brook, Ill.
