a new wedding venue in Dorset. The estate is a privately owned by Sir William and Lady Hanham and the house has been owned by the same family for nearly 500 years, and lies within romantic ancient gardens, containing a Saxon fishpond fed by a chalk trout stream, an apiary, orchard, herb garden, mature specimen trees and an old kitchen garden with a beautiful ‘crinkle-crankle’ serpentine wall. Sounds like a really gorgeous setting for your nuptials.
The theme that guided the styling of these images was based around Deans Court's beautiful little apiary – with soft summer/spring tones of yellow, lemons and whites. The prettiness of the tiny apiary along with Deans Court producing their own honey caught my imagination. The grounds and gardens are of a quaint english kitchen with fragrant herbs and flowers all year around. Perfect inspiration for anyone having a English garden wedding! We were truly spoilt on this shoot as the gorgeous grounds were just heavenly. Wedding photography at Deans Court, pretty much has it all.
Details were styled by Suzanne at RSVP Wedding with some beautiful flowers from Flowers by Design. The models wore gorgeous dresses from designers Alice Temperley, Stephanie Allin and Claire Pettibone supplied by Exquisite Bridal Couture - only some of my very favourite designers in the world and part of the reason I chose to share these images with you today. That, and the gorgeous hair styles that were perfected by hair and make up artist, Farida Ghwedar.
